The murder is the willful (non-negligent) killing of one human being by another. According to the number of persons that are killed and to the way this happens, there are many types of murders and each one has a different punishment in law:
a single murder - a "once in a lifetime event" that happens to a person that doesn't have a psychological profile of a murderer but it becomes one by bad change or under difficult circumstances.
murder by mistake - when the person that kills didn't wanted to kill at all or didn't wanted to kill that specific person.
Murder by defense - when the murderer protects him self from his victim's attacks and he kills him by accident while trying to escape. Most of the cases, he is found innocent because he only tried to defense himself.
Mass murder - made by a serial killer that kills many people in the same time (for example by placing a bomb in a building).
Serial killing - when a killer, generally mentally sick, kills two or more persons using the same pattern and way of killing.
According to how cruel is the killer, there also are 2 types of murder:
simple murder
very cruel murders - when the person killed is tortured or killed in a very cruel way.
