Law enforcement training

There is a growing need for many good law enforcement officers to protect citizens, enforce laws, and keep our streets safe

Basic Law enforcement training is one of the most lucrative opportunities for the underachiever. I'm not saying this to knock cops. I'm speaking from experience. You see, before I had my training for law enforcement, I was the typical ne'er-do-well. I was on the other side of the law more often than on the right side. I used drugs, sped, and jaywalked practically every day.

I had never really liked cops, being on the wrong side of them most of the time, but one of my friends turned me on to the possibilities of law enforcement training. He told me that if I took a few Federal Law enforcement training classes, I could soon be making upwards of 40,000 dollars a year. To me, this sounded too good to be true, but I soon found out that it was. The thing is, there are so many criminal justice careers just waiting for you. Law enforcement training, you see, is one of those areas that will always be lucrative. Societies change constantly, but there always needs to be someone to enforce the law.

Most people think of Law enforcement training as training to become a cop, but this is only one of the many possibilities. Although a degree in criminal justice can get you a career as a police officer in practically any city in the country, there are many other jobs open. For example, with law enforcement training you can become a corrections officer. Working in a prison might not sound like your idea of fun, but it pays pretty well and requires very little education. Besides that, there is the thrill of power. The decisions that you make as a prison guard are practically a life or death matter for the prison inmates. This is only one of the many places that your law enforcement training can take you.

In this day and age, more and more people use law enforcement training to get into the fight against terrorism. Law enforcement agents are needed now more than ever to fight against international guerrillas, terrorists, and other undesirables. With so much of the world now united against American freedom, law enforcement officers are more important than ever in this fight. For some people, it might seem like the ultimate thrill - involvement in international espionage. In my case, however, it sounds like too much trouble. I'd rather just be a cop.
